It’s fair to say it has been a little bit cold this week and so this week’s coffee recipe being the warming white chocolate latte will hopefully keep you cosy and warm on the inside whilst the outside is freezing.
A white chocolate latte is perfect for all those latter lovers that are impartial to a hot chocolate every now and then. The white chocolate means this is on a completely different level to a mocha, with completely different tastes and feels coming through. I find that the white chocolate enhances the coffee taste, and with its milkier taste it really complements any kind of coffee.

What you’ll need
3 ounces of baking
1/2 cup of half and half
1/2 cup of espresso
whipped cream (optional but recommended)
Step 1 – The chocolate
As with any coffee recipe, we’ll just assume you already have about 1/2 cup of espresso ready to go. In a saucepan on a low heat, combine the baking chocolate and the half and half until it looks all smooth and nice. Add a little bit of vanilla extract (or any extract you wish.)
Step 2 – Mixing
Simply put the chocolate mixture you just made into the coffee and stir well. The result should be this amazing aromatic coffee that looks too good to be true.
Step 3 – Finishing touches
Add your whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles, marshmallows and whatever else you want to make it look and taste amazing.
This is a really easy, simple recipe as it is but if you’re in a bit of a rush or have customers waiting you can microwave your chocolate and cream for about two minutes, making sure to keep a close eye on it and stir it very often.
