There’s not much that can beat Nutella and for those coffee lovers this salted Nutella Latte could fast become your new favourite coffee recipe.
As always, we recommend using quality beans as the this can literally make all the difference. Shop our collection of beans to find the best quality beans for ultimately the best tasting coffee.
Another beauty with the recipes that we post is that you can adapt them in any way that you want. Personally I prefer my lattes to be strong, not too sweet and anything slated complements it perfectly. In fact, salted caramel is one of the best syrups to add to a coffee, in my opinion. However, if you prefer milky or sweet lattes then obviously you can make this recipe your own. And if you love Nutella then, by all means, add more Nutella.
What you’ll need
3/4 of a cup of milk
1 tablespoon of Nyutella
1/2 a tea spoon of Vanilla syrup – this adds a desirable taste to the coffee, we promise.
A pinch of kosher salt (kosher is less refined than table salt and has a more pure, salty taste)
Coffee beans / your favourite coffee
Step 1- Brew your coffee
You’ll need some freshly brewed espresso, make this in any way you prefer – just make sure its fresh and hot. Exactly how a coffee should be.
Step 2 – Make your Nutella milk
on a hob heat the milk, Nutella (which should melt), vanilla and kosher salt for about 11 minutes, stirring whenever you feel necessary. You can also froth the milk afterwards if you really want. Sidenote: it will be a tiny bit more difficult to get a decent froth on the milk than usual.
Step 3 – Mix it all together
Add the milk to your espresso, stir it all in to make sure that salty Nutella taste mixes with your espresso. Add froth to the top and finish with chocolate sprinkles.
We’d love to hear from you if you tried out this recipe.
